余锡宾教授1987年硕士研究生毕业于合肥工业大学,并在合肥工业大学从教20年。现任上海师范大学生命与环境科学学院副院长、上海市化学教学实验中心主任、上海师范大学分析测试中心主任、稀土功能材料上海市重点实验室副主任、应用化学专业硕士点负责人。兼任上海市稀土学会副秘书长、上海市稀土协会副会长,上海市稀土协会发光专业委员会主任。长期从事无机功能材料的研究开发工作。

  

主要研究领域为无机光电功能材料,包括(1) 稀土发光材料;(2)太阳能电池新技术; (3)无机功能材料。2007年以来先后主持上海市重点领域创新专项及上海市高新技术产业化重点项目12项,并取得多项重要科研成果。在J. Mater.Chem.CrystEngCommAppl. Phys. Lett., J.P.C.C.,Mater. Chem. Phys., J. Lumin.Opt. Mater.等重要学术刊物上发表论文90多篇;申请国家发明专利60项,其中39项获得授权。2007获得上海市技术发明三等奖;2008获得宝钢优秀教师奖 “上汽教育杯” 优秀指导奖;2009获得上海市大学生挑战杯” 优秀指导教师奖;2010获得上海市科学技术三等奖、上海市科技进步三等奖;2012年获得第七届上汽教育杯上海市高校学生科技创新作品 “优秀指导教师2013年获得校最佳指导教师称号,获得上海市教学成果二等奖及校级教学成果二等奖各一次;2014年获得校师德楷模称号及上海市育才奖。

指导的学生获得中国青少年科技创新奖、全国大学生挑战杯一等奖、全国大学生创业计划大赛银奖、上海市科创杯一等奖 “上汽教育杯一等奖、 “宝钢优秀学生奖,上海市市长提名奖;陈嘉庚青少年发明奖等国家和省市级奖项42项。另外获得3篇上海市优秀学位论文。
